HISTORY OF THE PHI SIGMA PI FOUNDATION

The Phi Sigma Pi Foundation was founded on August 6th, 2005 by  brothers Carlye Buchanan.  Brother Buchanan, former Vice President of Finance and Alpha Phi alumna,  was looking into the ideas and the need to further develop the fraternity's donor base. 

At its initial inception, the Brother Buchanan, Current National Vice President of Finance Josh Marder, and Alpha Rho alumnus Herb Higgenbotham worked to build  the initial framework of the foundation.  Since then, the foundation has established its first Board of Directors and Officers: President Carlye Buchanan, Vice President Herb Higginbotham, Treasurer Odelle Heimiller, Secretary Ryan Marquiss, Board Member John Finnegan, Board Member Britt Marder, and Board Member Gene Seevers.
